From painting to movement, from reading to writing, Ms. Bollig was exposed to every available creative art expression medium while encouraged by her family to try it all. By the time she was 10 years old she was writing her first poems and short stories submitting them in school competitions winning second and third place, as well as gaining recognition for her work. During her teen years she gravitated between writing, painting and crafting. While in college, she ventured for the first time in selling her watercolor paintings with success as well as beginning to read her poetry and stories in public venues receiving positive reviews. In the late 70’s the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña added her name to the list of certified Puerto Rican artisans. For the past 30 years, Ms. Bollig continued to do some art work as a venue for leisure and stress release as well as discovering Quilting Arts, an expressive art medium using fabric to create portraits yet neglecting her writing. Today Ms. Bollig, along with her two daughters, owns TABYR Creations LLC, a company dedicated to handmade arts and crafts while trying to use as many USA products within their work as possible. At the same time, Ms. Bollig is also allowing her writing to be exposed again under her pen name.
